Beet high blood pressure with Beetroot Brunch

We’ve made a delicious beetroot spread that will kick high blood pressure and taste scrumptious.



Benefits of Beetroot

Packed with essential nutrients, beetroots are a great source of fibre, folate (vitamin B9), manganese, potassium, iron and vitamin C. Beetroot has been associated with numerous health benefits including improved blood flow, lower blood pressure and increased exercise performance.


Beetroot Brunch Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 Beetroots

  • 250g Greek Yoghurt

  • 2 tsp Crushed Garlic

  • 1/2 tsp Cumin

  • Fresh Coriander

  • Paprika

  • Squeeze Lemon

  • Bunch Fresh Rocket

  • Pomegranate


Method

In a blender, mix the beetroots, garlic, coriander. Add the Greek yoghurt, cumin, paprika and lemon. Mix in. Serve on your choice of toasted bread, then top with fresh rocket and pomegranate.
